An Attorney who is in Good Standing with the Middle District of Tennessee:

• has been duly admitted to practice before the Middle District of Tennessee
• is not currently suspended or disbarred
• is currently registered with the District Court
• is not in arrears in the payment of any fees required by the Court

A US Middle District of Tennessee Attorney Good Standing Certificate is a one page document issued by the Clerk of the District Court which bears the seal of the Court and signature of the Clerk of the Court. 

An appearance before the US Middle District of Tennessee on behalf of another party or a class may be made only by an Attorney who has been admitted to the Bar of or permitted to practice before the Court.

• The Attorney must be up to date and current with all state of Tennessee registration requirements
• The Attorney must not be subject to any court orders which prohibit the practice of law in the state of Tennessee
• The Attorney must have paid all costs, fees and fines which may be required by the state of Tennessee
