An Attorney who is in
Good Standing with the District of Idaho:
- has been duly admitted to practice before the District of Idaho
- is not currently suspended or disbarred
- is currently registered with the District Court
- is not in arrears in the payment of any fees required by the Court
A US District of Idaho Attorney Good Standing Certificate is a one page document issued by the Clerk of the District Court which bears the seal of the Court and signature of the
Clerk of the Court.

In order to be in Good Standing with the US District of Idaho an Attorney must be in compliance with the following:
- The Attorney must have been admitted to the practice of law in the state of Idaho
- The Attorney must be up to date and current with all state of Idaho registration requirements
- The Attorney must not be subject to any court orders which prohibit the practice of law in the state of Idaho
- The Attorney must have paid all costs, fees and fines which may be required by the state of Idaho
Admission to and continuing membership in the bar of the US District of Idaho Court is limited to Attorneys of good moral character who are active members in Good Standing of the Idaho State Bar.
Each applicant for admission must present to the Clerk a written petition for admission stating the applicant’s residence and office addresses and by what courts he or she has been admitted to practice and the respective dates of admission to those courts.
Upon qualification, the applicant may be admitted upon written or oral motion as determined by the Court. Before any certificate of admission will be issued, the applicant must sign the prescribed oath.
An Attorney who is a member in Good Standing of and eligible to practice before the bar of any United States Court or of the highest court of any state or of any territory or insular possession of the United States, who is of good moral character, and who has been retained to appear beforer the US District of Idaho Court, may, upon written application and in the discretion of the Court, be permitted to appear and participate in a particular case.
No certificate of admission is required to be issued by the Clerk.
