A Nevada Supreme Court Attorney Good Standing Certificate is issued by the Nevada Supreme Court, the highest court in the state judiciary of Nevada, for an Attorney who has qualified to practice law in the state of Nevada.

In Nevada there are two types of Attorney Good Standing Certificates.  One is issued by the Nevada State Bar; and one is issued by the Nevada Supreme Court.

In Nevada "Good Standing" means the Nevada Attorney:

• has been admitted to the Bar of the State of Nevada
• has renewed all required state of Nevada licenses
• is up to date with Nevada State Bar dues
• has filed all required disclosure forms required by the Nevada State Bar

Nevada Supreme Court Good Standing Certificates are often requested when a Nevada Attorney practices outside of the state of Nevada.

If you are a practicing attorney in the state of Nevada and you need to practice outside of Nevada some non-Nevada courts will require certification from the highest court in Nevada. In Nevada the highest court is the Nevada Supreme Court.

A valid expiration date is not written on a Nevada Supreme Court Attorney Good Standing Certificate.  The validity of a Nevada Supreme Court Attorney Certificate of Good Standing is usually determined by the intended recipient of the Nevada Supreme Court Attorney Good Standing Certificate.

Most jurisdictions require that the date on a Supreme Court Attorney Good Standing Certificate be within 30-60 days of its intended use.
